Double-sided aprons
Closed aprons come in two categories:
- light closed – 0,25 mm Pb on all surface
- heavy closed – 0,35 mm Pb in front and not less then 0,25 mm Pb on the rest of the surface.
All closed aprons protect front, back and sides of the body and come in three types:
DS type (coat) - has cushions inserted to give comfort under pressure on the shoulders area and has convenient Velcro fastening tapes. Parts of the coat overlapping in front double the protection of sensitive organs against radiation. |
DO type (poncho) - has cushions inserted to give comfort under pressure on the shoulders area and fastening with straps and snap buckles on sides. |

DG type (suit) - consists of two overlapping parts: vest (DG-1) and skirt (DG-2). Vest has cushions inserted to give comfort under pressure on the shoulders area. Parts of the vest and skirt overlapping in front double the protection of sensitive organs against radiation. |

All types of closed aprons are designed to accommodate belts that help to distribute part the weight onto the hips.
